Hi All,
Came across this forum while I was researching something vaguely electrical in Google.
Reading through some of the posts I see that a lot of folks are having a hard time finding work these days so I decided to join to see if I could share my knowledge on all things internet/marketing/websites/Google.
I know from talking to a tiler friend that he finds the idea of having to market himself on the internet really scary and hasn't a clue how to go about it. Not to mention the fact that he gets calls all the time trying to sell him websites and services he doesn't understand.
But the fact is that over 85% (estimate) of people looking for local services now use the internet so if you are not using the internet in your marketing you are losing out big time.
Hopefully I can be of some use to someone here.
