thats not strictly true though..... although it will help get you onto sites and big jobs with plenty of w@nkers round, in my experience it has been an essential requirement for any INDUSTRIAL electrical firms.

i certainly dont see mine as a way onto sites i see it as a way into factories.

image the situation.... from school you have worked constantly in factory environments so you may have experience with control panel building and wiring or maybe maintanence aspects...well that goes on the card as additional skills.

very handy for me and whoever chooses to employ me....its just the norm for me to be asked if i have it, im pretty suprised there has been 9 pages discussing it.
