I hadn't realised that this thread had gone so far, I obviously picked up on a sensitive area! So sorry for the late responce.

Thank you for the info. I had enquired about the cscs exam (40 questions on health & safety i.e. 'What colour is a fire extinguisher'? etc) but it is now organised through the JIB for electricians.

I think you can still do it, but it is part of the JIB application (I think) so I am not sure whether you would get a card (without NVQ L3) just for the health & safety bit?
