I am kind of mess up with all the information I collect on the internet regarding electrical installation. I want some clarification:

let say I do not have any knowledge in electrical installation, what course should I take first? what job will I be able to do with that knowledge (qualification). Then what will be the next course to take to be higher than the previous one and what job will I be able to do?

In fact, I would like to be advised so that I know what is the start and what is the end in a step by step procedure.

thks all of ya
I would presume by 'Part P' you mean the EAL Domestic Electrical Installer (DEI) qual?

As satated, there is no such thing as a Part P qual, but the EAL DEI (along with 17th edition regs such as C&G 2382-10) will satisfy the minimum qualification requirements to join a Competent Persons scheme i.a.w Part P of the Building Regs

Our students have gone on to be employed in commercial AND industrial sectors, as well as the obvious domestic market, following completion of this course

Without any electrical experience, we would require you to sit our Introduction to Electrics course.

We combine all of these quals, including the C&G 2392 Fundamental Certificate In Inspection & Testing, into a 3 week package, which can be spaced out over a long period, or completed with one week in about every 4.

I can provide more info if you require
