Hi everyone

My im Patrick and im from/live in Cardiff, I am looking for advice on how to get into the sparky trade, I have worked on site for years on and off and am looking to get a trade behind me, i attended college in essex as i served as a Royal Marine Reserve several years back, i was 3 months from completing year one and i got called up so i had to drop out.

Ive been back in Cardiff now for two years and recently quit my job to seek something long term and more so work that interests me, i have applied for apprenticeships with JTL and TWS and got an appitude test later this month but the thing that gets me is that they keep emphasising the fact that if you pass you still got to get your own employer so i realy dont see the need for them?

Anyway if someone could give me a little advice or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
