Hi RS, sorry to hear the work's dried up for you.
I'm not that far away from you in Bristol. At the moment I'm contacting a lot of firms in the area, trying to find someone to take me on while I do my apprenticeship at Gloucester college. A lot of the time I'm getting companies telling me that they have gone a bit quiet so aren't taking on, or that they are expecting to go quiet very soon, so don't want to commit to taking anyone on. - The others, well, they just don't bother replying, or the was the one that said he was looking for professional staff, then offered me a job for half the minimum wage!
