what would a normal sparky charge just to replace a socket, because the kettle plug has managed to weld it's self on the socket (double). ??

Depends what you mean by 'normal' Luke

I know a sparks who is married to his pet goat (although they are going through a rough patch)

Does that mean he can price it up differently

i agree with luke also but i will add that it depends what time they called and if it was out of hours like in the middle of stenders i would have to put a charge on

and shakey things are going much better for us now rough patch over

£35.00 is fine if cash and not out of way and a time that suits me. Good to get on right side of any client.
