I'm Just recovering from Salmonella Poisoning, Its the worst thing I've ever had !!

How about anyone else worst illness you've ever had?

i once had vertigo, an infection in the inner ear canal. spent two weeks in bed and if i even opened my eyes the whole world started to reveolve to the point i threw up, another week lying still, another week moving very slowly or throwing up. Doctor he gave me the only medicine that was aailable to help. travel sickness pills!!!

I had that Labyrinthitis was so bad i thought i had a brain tumor , lost over 2 stone couldn't, eat, drink move thought i was going to die

After a week in the hospital attached to a drip it got better but still have to take betahistine every day

I had this back in May last year, took 5 weeks to get over it, not nice at all

My father suffered from this a few years ago.

Tinitis i think?????

Anyhoo, hw is now on the tabs and is fine.

TBH, im not even sure he is still needing to take then anymore

Oh, I have Diabetes and unless they find one quick, im incurable, in more ways than one

My contribution is Mild(

) Pneumonia which travelled up my Eustachian tubes to my ear drums & perforated them

Very painful. So I was feeling like death, in pain & temporarily deaf ~ still went to work though (self employed) wasn't too industrious though

TBH mine is manageable and so in fairness its not an illness as in "illness" but, when it sometimes goes wrong, it goes seriously wrong

I had Viral Menegitis when I was 16, hospital for two weeks on a drip, had a lumber puncture (where they stick a needle in your lower spine and drain brain fluid from your head down the spine and out). 28 tablets a day whilst I was in Hospital. Fortunately I made a full recovery (not lost any limbs, etc) but have lost some of my short term memory. Oh well, I just write things down more often now. lol
