that gland box is going to have a new home in the bin, going to manfacture a larger gland box where the singles will come in through the rear and hopefully have enough of a bend radius before connecting onto the mccb. its a lot of arsing about i must admit, hopefully the next ones the geny manufacturer will leave enough room for cables.
Can you imagine trying to make off 2*300mm s.w.a. in that enclosure...stuff that.

Might be worth a call to the manufacturer, it's possible they might pick up the tab for any mods if they accept that their kit is not fit for purpose.
Worth a try, unless your customer doesn't care about any additional cost.
