    Default Isolator Advice

    Hi Guys

My neighbour has asked me is it possible to wire a second 3 phase socket into a circuit, so you end up with a radial circuit with two sockets on it. I have said no at this stage because of the demand on the cable to the first socket. Dont know if I am right or not.

However is it possible to wire the two sockets to an isolator so that only one socket is live and if so can anyone recommend an isolator that would be suitable for the job.

    Many thanks

    Chris

You can get mains changeover switches..mainly used for switching mains to generator supply. Best to run new circuit though.

Moeller 100 amp 3 pole changeover switch for 3 phase use.*::*Accessories*::*Diesel & Petrol Portable Generators | Diesel & Petrol Pressure Washers | Welder Generator
    Something like this.

    Hi Guys

Wales is great wouldnt swap it for anything no seagulls peace and quiet and very friendly locals. Delay was due to BT cancelling our order twice rudeness and agorance etc to both the Mrs and myself. Now they are so sweet and nice could it be because Ive turned down the pittance they offered in compensation and now taking them to the regulator

Anyway all that said its nice to be back

    Thanks
