Default Fire Alarm Installation Course/Technical Training Solutions

Hello, I recently discovered this forum and decided to ask for more information regarding a possible career change I've been considering. I am new to this so please excuse me if some of my questions sound a bit naive, I realise it takes a lot of time and effort to become a qualified electrician and I just want to ask for advice about the first steps in my training.

I was wondering what is the typical qualification required for someone who wants to work in the field of fire alarm installation. I am not a qualified electrician and I would like to know more about what would be the best choice for someone who wants to work as a fire alarm engineer.

I have done some research and one of the courses I've found is offered by Technical Training Solutions which you can see here - Installation & Maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems - Course 470 - Technical Training Solutions (£630)

However, in order to complete this course one needs to have some experience as an electrician or to have completed an electrical maintenance skills course - Electrical Maintenance Skills Training Course 110 - Technical Training Solutions (£2,520)

Is it possible to find a job as a fire alarm engineer or at least a trainee after completing those two courses or would I be able to start as an electrician's mate after completing the electrical maintenance skills course?

I would appreciate any feedback, thanks in advance!
