Default New Career Skills

Hi,
does anyone know anything about New Career Skills? I have decided to change career and enroll on an electrical course. NCS seems very appealing but the high price ,£6000, in comparison with other training providers is a bit worrying. Are they really the best on the market? Has anyone done a course with these people? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your time

Default Re: New Career Skills

Hi

i have no idea about NCS or the quality of their courses

But what are they ofering for £6K?

In comparison, our Professional Electricians package offers:

Introduction to Electricity (Theory and practical workshops)
EAL Domestic Electric Installer VRQ
C&G2382-10 17th Edition Wiring Regs
C&G2392 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

This retails at only £3795, as a three week package, or you can add the C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations for £4.6k for a 4 week package

I can't comment on NCS being the 'best in the market', but I do know that our new training facilities were described as "the model for colleges to follow" by the City and Guilds external verifier

good luck with your choice
