    Default rubber gloves

    Evening all
    got to do a job tomorrow connecting the meter tails from a 3 phase system to a new DB cannot in anyway kill the supply, anybody used these 1000 v rubber glove jobies ? i always work dead but just cannot get supply cut off HELP please

    Is there no way of pulling a fuse? Really don't recommend working live with tails..... full PPE is going to be a must.

    Hi m8 the meter room with fuses is in another building next door to the one im working in..... there0s the prob its been sealed off due to none payment of bills, police padlocks the lot so no hope lets hope i dont pop a phase

    Not good enuff reason to work live IMO.. Only ever work live if lives depend on the supply.

    Yea really man is there any way you can get in touch with police or whoever padlocked the room.... if the room that was locked is connected to other supplies and the isolation of those supples, then legally I'm not sure the coppers should have locked it.

    I am confused here? Doesn't the ewr act state that you must never work live? but as someone already mentioned what if there are lives a risk i.e in a hospital?

    Do I put one on each finger had thought a putting each tail in a plastic tablet bottle tape it round neck
