    Hi,

Yes you can install a fused isolator then go out with a sub main to the CU

but if your tails are over 3 metres, you need a fused isolator at the front end.

    hi sparky prime,
on the job i'm on there needs to be 3 new supplies brought into the the premises. 1 for shop, 1 for ground floor flat and 1 for 1st floor flat. The supplies were going to be mounted in a communal hall with the meters. i was going to mount isolators by the meters then submain off to positions of CU's . SEE wants to mount meters within 3m of CU. I don't understand why the meter needs to be next to the CU.
