Default working on a Distribution board.

When working in a DB with the main switch isolated this is still classed as live working due to the incoming live terminals. So say you need to test a circuit should you wear protective gloves, mats etc

Sorry disagree, dont think this can be classed as live working as if it were then how can a domestic electrician carry out any work without ignoring bs7671 and working live? as we are not allowed to pull service fuse without a pto. So i would say with circuit you are working on isolated is not classed as live working therefore no gloves needed

Normally the incoming terminals have a ip3x or ip4x cat so they are effectively in their own enclosure.
