Earthing and Bonding

Discuss Earthing and Bonding in the Electrical Forum, General Electrical Forum at Electricians Forums Discussion Boards; Tried searching and couldn't find anything on it. So could anyone give me a definition of the two please if they don't mind.... Cheers...

    Tried searching and couldn't find anything on it. So could anyone give me a definition of the two please if they don't mind....

    Hi.

    Earthing - The connecting of the EXPOSED conductive parts of an installation to the Main Earthing Terminal (M.E.T) of the installation.

    Equipotential Bonding - The connecting of EXTRANEOUS conductive parts of an installation to the Main Earthing Terminal (M.E.T) of the installation.

    main earthing shall limit the duration of a fault where main bonding would limit the magnitude.....
