Electrical NVQ's & CoursesChat generally about the training available for electricians and the types of electricians courses, college, university etc...
These prices are incredibly high, I paid £300 yr1, £360 yr2 and £399 this year...Am I missing something here or am I just lucky that I live where I live. Standard of teaching seems good and equipment is adequate with no real restrictions on use of materials.
That's just a joke. for that money it is better to the an intensive course for level 3. That way you can start working faster and would make back any extra you might pay over the college course

How can prices vary so much I don't get it???????
OMG!!!!!! I have paid £2500 over the last three years. My college opened up new premises this year and they are considered 'state of the art' which was just an excuse to push the price for the year up ny £250! We even have to pay to park in the college grounds!!
My first year would have been £674.50 although I paid £35 because I wasn't working (I couldn't get benefits though because I wouldn't give up college to work on Mondays, so I wouldn't class myself as a benefits scrounger).
Second year cost £674.50 which I paid in 2 installments
Third year I have to find £1009.11 from somewhere.
