yeh we've always had our results instantly - they did make us wait 30 mins once for everyone to finish which had us all sweating lol
I found the exam easier than what i was expecting - 4 maths questions (two on motor rpm calculation, one on total resistor value connected in parellel & one on efficiency of a motor)
I got the usual H&S questions, motors, and a few electrical component questions. If you do end up resitting i'd recommend to just study past papers, if you do quite a few you'll know the sort of questions your gonna get asked. Just know your motors, calculations and a bit electronics and the rest you'll get away with.
I found this site good for revising, heres some login details for some of the papers

One question that threw me was iso9000 - this represents:
1. Safety
2. Quality
3. silly answer
4. silly answer
Straight away i chose quality and moved onto the rest of the questions, then i reviewed each question can came back to this and started to think what ISO could mean and started to think the S could me safety so then changed my answer to safety - that cost me my distinction

17th wiring regs update & 2391 is next on the cards, not sure whether to do the 2391 at college or hammer it out on a 5 day course at a training centre?
