I know it's 240, but I've seen the same place selling the 110 version for the same price (which seems quite reasonable to me) and that's what the lads supply at work.

So far, so good. Apparently Makita have got a very decent support service as well, so if anything does go tits up they'll get it fixed up and back to you in no time.

The only thing I can compare it to is my DeWalt Screwfix special, which pales in comparison

Yup, Bosch all the way my man. Go 24V or if the pockets are deep - 36V. Can't go wrong.

Go for the Bosch, you won't go far wrong with one of those.

I have a little part time job for a company that refurbishes power tools, then sends them for export. After looking at the internal workings of the various makes, if I was to buy for my own use , it would have to be Bosch SDS+
