it is a bit of a bugger i am sure i had a dodgy batch of 10 mm and the outer stuff was stuck fast to the blue core i had to crack it off(not crack one off)but then i worked the other side of the country and had the same?

is this common?

Yes its bloody awful stuff. we put loads of it in a club in manchester a couple of years ago under the Arndale (their Spec). Went back to the not very nice method of stanley knife down the earth. Was easier than snips.
