Default Surge Protection

Hi,

I have a combi boiler fitted in a local community hall that blew a circuit board due to a power surge last year. This was rectified at the time by the fitting of a new circuit board. The boiler is connected to the electrical supply by means of a switched fused spur.

Does anyone know if there is a surge protected spur on the market that I can replace the existing on with and prevent further problems? I dont want to go down the line of using a plug and socket as users then to pull the plug out and leave it cold for the next person.

Any help will be well appreciated
