Cordless drill performance
My Makita 12v combi drill, which is probably around 5 years old, seems to have less power than it used to. When the batts are fully charged they give 14.08 volts, but when the drill trigger is pressed, rather than spinning right up to speed, the motor seems to gradualy build up to full speed.
Anybody know if its the batts that are knackered, or is it the drill motor.
Cheers for the help.

Re: Cordless drill performance
Sounds like the batts to me or possibly the charger.
5 years is pretty good going if it gets used on a daily basis and batteries constantly charging and discharging.
Hard to say really without a proper bench test.
