Default Where's your F***ing Tool!?!

We've been on this job for the past month or so and got to know all the lads there (as you do). Ducters, tilers etc.

Anyway, the other week a new gang turns up doing some work, very ignorant, selfish work ethics so a workmate and I end up having words with one of them.

At the end of the day, as we're packing up, my mate realises his drill's gone missing
We never found it (obviously), one of those little tw**s probably had it off.
I know it could be looked on as funny.
(Big tough guy has words with someone who then retaliates by nicking his tool )

But it is bang out of order. I mean, it's going to cost the lad 2-3 days wages to replace it brand new.

Well, point of this thread is, have any of you lot had any tools nicked? If so, what? And did you find it funny?

yeah a few things, even tho i've only been sparkying for 8 months, i've had a saw nicked off me, liturally walked (5 of us) down the length of the building and back (20m), and it had gone, cameras showed nothing which seemed funny. screw drivers, windup radio (got that back tho)

If You Build It, They Will Come n If it aint broken don't fix it!

Had all sorts nicked and it's usually plasterers and painters who do the thieving in my experience. Just small things like levels, drivers etc.

nicking tools is out of order sometimes you only find them missing when you need them and yes i've had drills nicked and i've"lost"various hand tools over the years

Can't understand people leaving their tools in their vehicles overnight Spudmiester. My boss does the same but, as far as I know, he's not had a vehicle robbed...Yet.

*Remembers his own tools in the car and trundles off to bring them in*

Some of us have to Bane. I carry that much by way of tools and kit it would take me an hour a day to empty/load the van up
