hiya, just wondering, for those who do mostly domestic work, have you invested in a a powered wall chaser like these here

Wall Chasers, Wall Chasers, Wall Chaser Blades

do you most definately need one, if your doing domestic alot, or do you prefer the hammer and chisel? your thoughts please
If You Build It, They Will Come n If it aint broken don't fix it!

I hate them Luke, lots of dust. I use a Bosch SDS multi drill on chisel function myself.

I have used them a few times and think they are great, if you are worried about dust just connect your hoover to them, fast neat and clean, Also nice clean lines for plastering

Try a 'Sparky' wall chaser from Screwfix. I have two 125mm ones on the go. They are not too dear either BUT they are German so made very well. The wall chaser is a must BUT ONLY if you have a good extractor. Look at Bosch Gas25 Or Gas50, they have a vibrating filter which stops clogging. Numatics 'Henry' also works but get re-usable bags not paper ones. The 'Henry' is considerably cheaper also.
If you want the best though, its the Hilti DCSE-20. Big Big Bucks new though.

I dislike SF - never buy anything from em personally. Better deals at the wholesalers IMO

    Hi,
I'll use a chaser on a new build site,e.g. extension etc., because of the dust otherwise it's Bosch SDS and chisel. Keeps the customer a lot happier I've found.
Keep your fins wet and your air dry.

Surely though if you use the dust extraction properly it is ok?
