I am looking for electricians & mates to work on a self employed basis in the stoke and gainsbourough areas for approximately 20 weeks. I have two projects starting at the same time (10th jan) and im short of sparks. The projects are stoke city football training ground and a new school in gainsbourough, installing tray, basket, conduits and trunking. Wiring is SWA and singles.

You must carry a valid ecs/cscs card. IPAF and PASMA an advantage.

Your own transport and tools will be required.

ive just finished my 2330 course and my am2 is booked for end of febuary so would be willing to work weekends as a mate i also hold a valid ipaf liscence and ecs card

My name is Norm, I have just joined the Electricians forum...not sure how to use it yet but found your post.

I have been out of action for some time due to an accident back in 2006. So yes I have found there are some serious changes to site life.

I have sent a message to this site to get information about what is required of me to get back into the job...I have in the past worked on several big construction sites, Blackpool football club, couple of sports centre in London and the Kepak factory build in Kirkham Lancashire. These are just a few to mention...whilst on these I did operate scissor lifts, cherry pickers and telescopic booms, yes, no fear of heights!

So, once I have gained the knowledge of what is needed to get onto a site I will be looking for work and not frightened of do it either and the hours, we are all money orientated or we would not do it!!!
