Good improver/mate Southampton.
I am looking for a good improver or mate for commercial and light industrial work in Southampton area. I have other work elsewhere so must have own transport and tools.
They must be reliable hard working and know their stuff. Plenty of work for the right person.
I am fed up of blaggers, labourers and people who really cant be arsed to get out of bed!

Re: Good improver/mate Southampton.
HI im new to the site and have just read your advert and was wondering if you had any work in kent, london or essex,iv been working in the electrical trade for just over 13yrs but been out of work for about 4months as work has dried up,i work as a electrician for local companies who know what im capable of but my lack of qualifications is making it hard for me to find work,i do have the 16th ed and ecs, but im also doing a training course at home which is allowing me to gain the papers that i need to become a fully qualified electrician,if you do have anything available if you could let me no that would be appreciated thanks jon

Hi Macker,
30 year old, full clean driving license, own car, own hand tools, 110v SDS and Skill saw,
Currently putting myself through the 2330, just passed level 2,Have experience in new builds, domestic ,really very keen to find something more substantial, working part time out of industry to pay the bills, but have found myself some work with local electrician, covering holidays and busy periods, as-well as small cash jobs on the side, sinking sockets and adding spurs and other minor works.
I'm genuinely honest, smart, hard working, keep my eyes and ears open, and seriously dedicated to carving a career out in the electro-technical installation industry, Opportunity are rare and must be jumped on with two feet, Would like very much a chance of a small trial, to show you my worth and tool skills.
Cheers Mark

Re: Good improver/mate Southampton.
I am nearly 20 years old and new to this website. I have just passed my City and Guilds Level 2 Electrical Installation Course at Eastleigh College and I am looking for an opportunity to get started in the industry. I have my own reliable car and as my Dad is also an electrician, tools will not be a problem. I am committed to continue studying for my level 3 and attend college in my own time. I have a glowing reference from Eastleigh College and am desperate to back up my qualification with gaining practical experience. My email address is jspencer90@hotmail.co.uk and I would very much look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Good improver/mate Southampton.
Hi Macker,
Welcome back, thought this had long gone, I have a variety of site experience not all Electrical though, First few years after I left school I worked as Junior installation engineer of refrigeration and air-conditioning, I then went on to work as a joiner until an accident 5 years ago but my site experience varys from new and rebuild homes, hospitals/ research facility's, shops, factory's and warehouses, I have steel toe caps, high vis jacket and hard-hat, My most recent "site" experience is a couple of weeks ago, first fixing on new build block of flats and country home, and second fix another block, I am familiar with most other trades, and work hard to not lose my tools. I would say I was "site-safe, tidy and responsible".
Cheers Mark
