I have gone back to work on the houses, re-wiring kitchens and bathrooms for local authorities. I fancied a change as was working industrial and commercial for the last year but prior to that was on the houses. I realised that working for a contractor on an hourly rate I wasn't going to earn too much whereas on the houses there is money to be made. Each to his own I guess but I have a good crew and the days race by which helps. I don't have the variety that I did in Ind / Comm but it's a much better crack in general.

It's domestic & commercial for me, as a one man band I go where the work is so I'm not fussy.

I wouldn't mind doing some domestic house work, at the moment i'm working for an industrial company, i've noticed you tend to do alot of trucking, conduit, armours etc, and theres not a great deal of wiring to be honest. dunno if i'm loosing out or not

LS look on the bright side at leat you dont have a room full of furniture to shift before you make a start or work in some minging dirtbag house (it amazes me how gungy some people are) when doing industrial......saying that I'm enjoying the work still.
