Smile Wanted : Work in North-East - North Yorks Region . . Electricians Mate / Labourer

Hello . i'm currently looking for work in the North-East /Nth Yorkshire Region as an electrican's mate or labourer. i'm 27 and waiting on a place on the NVQ 2330 level 2 course this September, at the moment im doing voluntary work with a local company on weekends but unfortunatley they can't employ me during weekdays which is a shame. i've done a couple of 1st fixes and im doing some 2nd fixes and bits in between in the next few weekends.. im hard working and never ever do sicky's .
i just need to be given the chance to learn the Elec trade full time and prove myself to be reliable. I hold a Full License so travelling wont be a problem

Please pm me or email : jayuk22@googlemail.com

Thanks... Jason

this isnt ghosts .com
one of the best ways to get employment is to do temporary .try job search web sites and (sorrying for swearing )agencies.
employers can be reluctant to take on an unknown

Luke??? Make a sticky covering best ways/places to contact/attempt to gain employment please? Loads of people seem to ask this.

Jay? Get your Yellow Pages or go on Yell.com and find electricians/contractors in your area. Write them a covering letter and enclose your CV. E-mail a covering letter with a CV attached. Phone them. Approach their premises in person. Sell yourself (not literally), show your keen, interested, enthusiatic. Explain what you've tols us. (Waiting on your 2330, currently working weekends, etc.) Try NOT to say you'd work for free (everyone needs to make a living!) UNLESS your getting NOWHERE.

And, if you are getting nowhere, you need to re-assess how your approaching these people, what your saying/typing whatever. I really don't see any reason why your not getting on.

Hope this helps you some.
