 |  tripping been a while since i started a thread, i dont get many problems  i thought id share this one with you and see if you got the same conclusion as me . lighting circuit (b10 mcb),7x50w on one sw 6x35w on the other sw . circuit fully tested and results are well within parameters after aprox ten minutes circuit trips . no problem on the 50w (which are 240v spots) mcb doesnt trip on them the 35w are compact metal halides ,the lamps achieve full brightness uniformally this part of the circuit appears to be the problem ,so any thoughts and do you have the same conclusion as me ? |

| Re: tripping would your thought be that the metal halides are pushing the mcb to its limit whilst warming up? its not a small breaker either, you'd of thought it would be ok but clearly it aint!! what socket are the metal halides (gu10's?) |

| Re: tripping dunno then really! 10 amps mcb seems ok, is this a commercial enviroment would it be of benefit upping to a type c? would Zs readings accomodate it? probably way out with what im saying im just a serial typer!! lol |
