I've got to install an electric shower and a 12v fan in a bathroom and move the existing light fitting. the fusebox is a split load rcd board, do I have to fit a new dual rcd fusebox to cover the fan?

hi matey, suppose you got a few options really, put shower on rcd side of board, or give it its own RCBO (be tempted with the later?), the 12v fan, is this a fresh installation; ie. new supply from lighting circuit to fan isolator etc, more than likely it is or even if it isnt then the cabling your working with is probably less than 50mm from the surface so id put the lighting on rcd/rcbo as well, how much room you got in the board?

I've only got one spare way on the rcd side of the board, it looks like I'm going to have to change the board.
