Default main bonding conductors

i have recently finished a periodic test of a fairly large castle and found that the building had no main equipotential bonding conductors. There is around 22 individual consumer units situated around the building all coming via sub main supplies from the main incoming area. Must the main bonding conductors come from the point of incoming supply or can they come from any of the individual consumer units?

As long as you have an in spec Zdb at your local consumer units there should be relevant equipotential bonds run from these DB's to associated services/metalwork etc as there should be from the local DB to the point of origin.

Hope this helps
