You may need a few more posts but if you read this thread this gives information on how to apply for access and also a link to the staff: darkwood,GMES, Leesparkykent, Marvo, Sintra; if you click on one of the names in the staff list to get their profile and then go to the information tab and at the bottom under interact choose "start a conversation"

Thank you Richard, much appreciated! guess i may need to be a more active member! Was after some ideas on pricing but that's for behind closed doors.

Thanks again

@Anthony_wayne usually you need at least 100 posts, this goes some way to show that you are an active member and then also usually some proof of being in the trade, that could be a link to your website or even a recent invoice for work you have carried out. It may seem over the top but as you have just pointed out the Arms is a closed area of the forum and it's members need to know that what they may post in there is secure.
So based on the above, all I can say is get involved a bit more in the threads and you will soon get there.
@Richard Burns As usual thanks for your help.

Thanks GMES, I've been a member of the forums for a long time, just more of a reader than a poster! Been in the trade for 15 years, time served, but am only now in the process of setting up my own business so haven't got all the bits up yet. Can point you in the direction of my FB page though....

Hi, i have been trying to recover my account and have resorted to re registering. My account was bonse or thebonse or something like.... and i was a member of the Electriciand arms as Marren electrical. Any chance you can either re add me tot he arms or tell me my old user name so i can try recover my password please

Cheers

Darren

Yep, your username was 'Bonse' and yes, you had access to the Arms in 2011 but the account has been cleaned out. It probably wasn't used for a year or even longer; usually the forum then sends a couple of reminder emails warning that the account is long inactive and will be closed. If you still don't at least log in then the account is closed during the next inactive member clean up.

It was so long ago the account history is no longer in the database so I can't even reinstate the account I'm afraid.

There was sufficient old posts available to prove your name so I've given you access to the Arms.
