One crisis averted, another one encountered!

Turns out it is not a 16a supply at all, it is a red 32amp 5 pin! So the £60 odd quid ive just spent on the cable etc is utterly effing usless!lol!

Can anyone of you knowledgable heads solve this new problem? How to use a Red 5pin 32a supply to power my trailer which has a blue 3 pin 32a connection on it?

Free burgers and coffee is offered as reward!

the £60 you spent on the cable would have gone a long way into paying an electrician if you'd only listened to previous advice. the cable may be usable, however, so all may not be lost. :(

I thought you meant get an electrician to do it about getting the cable made up mate! I paid someone to do that, but they didnt know (nor did I) that the supply was 3 phase.

Hes got his own sparky coming out next week so I suppose il have to wait until then :(

when he comes, get him to find the correct socket for your hook -up and fit plugs and sockets to your cable as required.

I'm sure the spark who's coming next week will be able to fit a 1P blue 32A socket.

If you ever need advice about anything, it's always best to get all the information upfront (Inc a few pics)
If we'd of known the socket from your mates petrol station was a red, then the advice would of been different.

Yeah, will do.

I got told the other socket was 16a blue 100%, turns out its not. Suppose its a lesson learned to check myself next time. Cheers for all your help anyway lads. Much appreciated.
