    Wylex REC2 service isolator failure

I had Scottish Power moving a supply this morning from one building to another so an extension could be built. I had everything ready for them with a Wylex REC2 in the meter box and I'd already run my tails. Anyway, they turned up, , ran their ducting, stuck the head in, connected up to my...

    Wylex REC2S screws supplied?

This might seem like a dumb question, but I got a Wylex REC2S isolator and there are no screws for fixing the covers on. Am I unlucky they have been lost from this box, or is there some obscure part I also need to order to get the fasteners to hold the covers on?

Can Wylex plug-in MCB be tripped by anything but overcurrent/short circuit?

Hello, I have an old 16A Wylex SK type B plug-in breaker in the fuse box in my garage which keeps tripping, and every time (and only at that time) the 32A one of the same type supplying the whole garage in my home's main box also trips. It isn't happening fast, sometimes it takes days to happen...

Do Wylex RCBO's fit as a replacement for NSB MCB's?

I may well need to change all the MCB's for RCBO's in this board (see picture). Do Wylex RCBO's fit in this board? It is currently fitted with NSB MCB's. Also, Wylex seem to do a few different RCBO's. Do they all fit, especially the new compact range? I'll expand a little on the problem...

    Another Wylex compatibility question

A relative of mine has a Wylex NHRS6606 split load CU (i.e. main switch and one RCD), probably from around 2003, and it is fitted with the likes of the NSB32 MCBs. I don't have a picture of the inside, nor can I expect them to safely do that, so I was wondering if anyone knows if the recent...

Best way of connecting to the live bus bar in Wylex CU

I'm using a Wylex consumer unit to house some equipment to measure single phase heat pump performance. Part of the box is a conventional main switch and MCBs, but part of it is a din rail mounted RS485 linked three phase energy meter which is used to measure total energy, energy use by any...

    Wylex Compatibility

Anyone know if the reduced height, switched neutral Wylex RCBO's will fit in this enclosure? Planning to rip the all the devices out and start again with all RCBO, but don't want to change the enclosure. I seem to remember the newer Wylex boards have a different shaped flap on the lid? Maybe...
