Hi Gang,
Just joined this forum coz i'm at my whits end,
we have just bought some new 110v adaptors male and female to test 110 v kit.. we've been using our old ones for years so we thought we'd get some new ones, however ! they test the kit fine, both CL1 AND CL2.. BUT! when we do the lead test everything goes fine until the polarity test which always reads "open" i tried to open them up to check the wiring is ok.. and not looped into live only but they have no screws aaarrgh.. we used to use a large box years ago for testing appliance in one outlet and lead in the other... has anyone got any ideas why these adaptors we have now keep showing open..:13:
Thanks..
Jay
