Hi,
Not sure if I'm posting on the right forum here but hope you can help? I'm having a 3.5kW system installed in two weeks, and the installer has specified 14 Sanyo HIT250 panels, and the SB3300 inverter.
I've been reading around and am now thinking that this inverter is not the best choice? Opinions?
Also, he mentioned I could have a bluetooth display and I decided against it. Could I add this at a later stage if required?

Hi

The SMA SB3300 works in sunny design. A 3.6 Inverter susch as the Fronius 3.6TL or Aurorra 3.6OUT would be better.

Regards

Tom

It's an obsolete design. there are other more efficient inverters out there, such as aurora or power one. SMA are working on a 3600TL I beleive but it won't be out until next year.
