No I found writing the tests out helped for both single and three phase,its harder than your think putting it down on paper.know your ip for different special locations,and understand bs7671,GS38,GN3
 
There is a reason this exam is so hard,it's because they want you to know the bgb and gn3 inside out. Done my exam in march and I can tell you these books are imprinted in my mind forever.

Exams are only hard, for those that don't know the answers!!

And that generally means that they haven't had adequate training and / or they haven't done the study and revision work required to pass a meaningful qualification exam!!


Never quite understood why a general inspection/testing exam to BS7671 is found to be so difficult for some. It should be second nature to a qualified electrician!!....
