have this arrangement in loft: 3 lights going to a 3 gang switch, each live going to each L1 terminal, neutrals connected together in wago block, each com terminal linked with small link cable. supply comes from junction box which is spurred off lighting circuit, live from supply goes to com terminal in 3 gang switch. does this sound acceptable? there are 4 lights on the circuit plus the 3 in loft.

You can't really 'spur' off a lighting circuit. It is just an extension of the circuit. Are all the CPCs also properly terminated (connected together) and sleeved yellow and green? Is the junction box accessible and will it remain so? Has the work been tested prior to being energised?

yes, all the earths are sleeved and connected together, junction box is visible and screwed to loft joist, it's a wago box, with wago connectors. fuse is 6 Amp
