The joints stuffed up into the ceiling are bad enough, but then the control gear/transformers or whatever they are sit up there in the void as well - perfect fire fodder! You wouldn't know you had a fire till the void was well alight! (usually lots of sawdust/debris up there). Looks like one of the downlighters was a near miss!
As you might guess, I just don't like things hidden away in ceilings- call me old fashioned! Shouldn't you use fire retardent enclosures for ceiling lights?

I'm more accepting of people's little ways - sunglasses, wigs and false beards etc. But I did go 'ugh' when I saw this going back up
