Discuss All RCBO Board in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

How on earth do you guys make an all RCBO board look presentable. If I use the length the manufacturer has set I'd have nothing but wire everywhere.

I want to cut them down to size and stick a new ferrule on, but thought I'd grab the consensus here before I do.

I haven't seen any Lee, just on older installs.

Cut and ferrule it is. Hope I can find some small enough for the functional earth's too

Do any of the manufacturers still make them with the stupid pig tailed neutral lead? Now that's an impossible job to make neat.
One of my mentors as an apprentice used to tape the pig tailed leads to the edge of the table so the RCBO was left dangling, then leave them all overnight and connect up the next day!

Pretty ridicolous but it did straighten them up a bit.

RCBO, your mentor......as an apprentice? Must be a young mentor

Remember, as an apprentice, coming across the occasional VOELCB......the only pig tails I saw were whilst working on a pig farm...and no sign of anything but 3036's. lol.
