Evening all!!

Am2 monday, only issue i now have is the lighting (two way + intermediate) with carrying the neutral throughout the switchs then upto the light from the last switch...?? Feed to switch .. live into common blocking the neutral.. 3 core and earth from first switch to intermediate using the grey as a neutral to carry throughout to the switchs , leaving brown and black as my strappers connected l1 l2 in switch one.. into the intermediate switch continued through to the last switch then taking neutral up to the light and my switched live from common upto the switched live in the light? Yes.. no?..

Cheers gents!

Sounds correct there, remember to sleeve the appropriate cores correctly, and also check that they have not asked you to do it differently on the specification!
However I would expect that they would use this method.
If it is singles in conduit then no need for sleeving, just use the correct singles.

Morning Rich, thats how they want it wired yes. Its in dado trunking as far as im aware! Thank you

Evening, Matthew on the day of your exam, be sure to check the spec for the install.

When I did my AM2, the lighting circuits were wired in:
6242Y = 2 core + cpc
6243Y = 3 Core + cpc

I'm not sure if the AM2 changes across the UK so it might well be singles. Just a heads up :)

2 core + cpc from the D.B to the first 2 way switch
3 core + cpc to the intermediate switch
3 core + cpc to from the intermediate switch to the last 2 way switch
2 core + cpc from the last 2 way switch to the light
