Been told about this new website that is supposedly meant to help us market our trades to one and other so that business can invite you to tender..and showcase our work so people can hire us.

Its called TOOLi

Anybody used it or had any experiences of it?

Seems a bit like instagram for tradesman if i am being honest... Thought i would ask around before going through effort of signing up.

From what i can tell there are no fees, you get shown occasional ads for tools, kit etc... from suppliers but i can't work out how apart from the ads the website is making money...
Its a sort of directory where firms looking for electricians can post jobs and the public can find electricians. each electrician can post pictures of the jobs they have done with contact info. so a bit like the forums on here advertising electricians...

One of my customers started a website on that basis. He is now having to ask for a fee for each job won. It is a minimal cost, but I'm not sure that business model can sustain itself. Maybe it will do better on a mobile platform.
