Don't do much big stuff, but 500mm single core AWA and 2H25 MICC. I've also altered a load of 4" copper pipe if that counts.
 
When I was an apprentice for BT ( scum company to work for, but I digress).
We had to joint a 4800pair cable.
A 1m length was a two man lift.
It took 60man hours to joint and seal.
Drove us mad... So I thought I'd change tac and become a sparky...best decision ever.
 
Going the other way, I have hand assembles circuits with individual transistors (FETs) that had gate structures less than 1 micron. The unit was less than 1mm in any dimension. And yes, I dropped it, and my boss suggested I take up a career in motel management :(
