Hi Guys,

Just after some help regarding further training as an Electrician. I'm an Australian A grade electrician with a Certificate 3 in Electrotechnology. I have a dual passport for the U.K. and intend on staying here. From what I can see that certificate is equivalent to an NVQ lvl 2?

I'm currently in a Maintenance Electrician role but trying to get my foot in the door to be trained up as an ICA Electrician, so basically my questions are...

What course can I do to give me an ICA qualification?

And will that qualification be recognized back home in Australia if I decide to move back?

Thanks :)

I reckon you would get good advice from Kennyken when he comes on, there may be others who can help, but sorry I have no idea, as I am old time

Not agreeing to the last bit Pete:D

I have just pm'd Kennyken who is Aussie based so hopefully you may get a response when he gets up! If not try reposting because he has been active over the last couple of days.
