FCU off RFC and bin the BBQ area CU is the way to go.

Yeah fair enough, but if you were to use a larger cable with 32amp capacity and also fit an isolator at the supply end I can't see a problem, just to give a bit more flexibility than the FCU would allow ?

Why does in need a small CU. Use a single radial down to sockets and off to the lights.

The way I took it, if it went on a dedicated radial say 16amp back to the CU, I would want to spur down the lights on FCU.

Ross you've still not mentioned what the sockets are being used for (Im reluctant to go the fcu off rfc route as the loading might top this by a few amps on occasion).

Are they plugging in patio heaters or a hot tub ().
