My UK fridge of 5 yrs stopped working. I was told the fridge had blown a fuse so I replaced it myself with a 13A fuse. The fridge started working again from a different socket but when I connected the plug back to the original socket per the photo attached it doesn’t work. Seems like something is wrong with the original socket and or the other fuse white box in the pic attached located above the non working socket. When a 3 pin plug from a fridge appliance blows a fuse does it also blow a fuse in the little fuse box per the attached? Do I just unscrew the little silver screws on the white fuse switch & replace with the same fuse amp just as I did with the 3 pin plug provided I turn the electricity off at the mains? Is it that simple? does the little box called "fuse" just pop out?

Let me know. thanks

2nd. pic shows a 13A fused connection unit. fuse is removed by unscrewing the small screw in the fuse carrier and pulling the slide out. simple job to replace.

Yes turn the swich off and then you can unscrew that screw in the middle and the fuse holder will come out and you can replace the fuse it will be the same type as in the plug
