Anyone got any book recommendations to learn a bit about all the commercial type fire systems and their appropriate standards. Don't fancy pulling out a small fortune for BS5839

So what about more formal training - any ideas where to start? I'm not thinking for tomorrow, but definitely an area to investigate when I'm further on with my studiesIt is a good and profitable sector to get into HT, what I would say is concentrate on the Design and commissioning of them more than the installation. I am always getting asked to commission them and it can be good money.
I'm actually a member of Durham library and they have the same access, I hadn't realised! ThanksIf you come across the thread regarding the "Newcastle library online" join and you get access to the British standards online. Just went on there with my requested details and all works ok. They send you a library card with a number and email a PIN to you. Worth it for nothing and available 24 hours
