Guilty as charged.I have to agree with Tel here, looks like you destroyed that crimp, is it me or are you putting ferrules on standard stranded cable as oppose to fine wire/stranded ?.. may explain the result.
A most definite yes - you must have seen that expression more than most because no one else picked it up!Is it me, or do the blue wires look a bit like a fist with a finger sticking up?
BS7671 requires where fine wire conductors are used, that they be protected from damage.In what circumstances should ferrules be used?
