Just picked up 3 socket "mobile" Mains kit.
hi gear , with 16A isolator and 30 mA RCCB by Hgg .
It had the traditional at least 1 screw loose on Outgoing Neutral ferrule.
( finger tight )
Incoming cable is a bit frugal at 1.5mm sq( and GREEN ) .
Is anyone aware of other problem areas .
( It will be used for intermittent - light loads- a few days a year ) Camping .
--- Or I would have spent more --!
Blue plug 16A-6h -Moulded - No screws .

Is anyone aware of any reliability isues - if treated kindly . (un-wound!)

(Documentation supplied -advises -No unattended operation , get out clause )
( Splash proof but doesn't like rain . )

I would test the RCD to ensure it is correctly and safely operational before use.
Overall the unit sounds like it could be used reasonably indoors for a maximum of a 16A load.
No idea about the manufacturers but if the units are CE marked and state they comply with the appropriate British standards then you ought to be OK.
However the price does tend to err toward the low end of the market.

If it is a cheap Chinese product, the MCBs and RCDs may well be clones and might be missing vital parts. Also, the quality and quantity of copper may not live up to its markings...

..... MCBs and RCDs may well be clones and might be missing vital parts.......
"Missing" sounds interesting , overload arc supression , or just reliable hard wearing contact surfaces , first guesses ?

(Will load up cable and check for hotspots
-check isolator ,can break 16A and still work )
