Discuss Can I replace a 15w with a 25w in oven in the Electrical Appliances Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Can't imagine the extra heat would be an issue...

at 230V its still only 0.11 of an amp or so. I'm pretty sure the wire used will be well over that capacity.

A 15W bulb is shorter in length (47mm) than a 25W bulb (55mm). The glass protector may not fit over the 25W bulb. If it does it may not leave a small air gap between the glass protector and the bulb, it could also break the bulb when the protector glass cover is tightened.
If there is extra space to accommodate a 25W bulb then it should be okay.

Helpful info.
About 5 years too late for the OP, but someone else might find it useful.
